In Home Board and Train Program

We can do in home Board & Train for your Big or Small dog here in Northern Florida even if you are living outside of Florida. Dogs can be transported to us prior to training, however when training is over you will need to arrange to pick them up in person or arrange for Jamal to bring them home so we can set you both up for success and that initial time frame is what makes the transition and decompression so important after training. Most of the dogs we work with in board & train are dogs with significant behavior issues that are preventing families from having the quality of life they desire to have with their pack. These dogs typically have serious issues with human or dog/animal aggression, fear & anxiety, or a combination of these and other behaviors. We do not put a specific timetable on training since each dog and their issues are different they are just like humans in this way. Some behaviors that present up front may take less time than others to work through. We provide a consistent flow of communication when a dog is in board & train including photo & video updates, texts, email, calls, and video call updates with you. It’s important to your dog’s progression that you see the issues as well as the training progression so you will understand the ongoing training that will be required of you when they return home in an effort to sustain new and improved behaviors. Dogs are a reflection of their environment as well, so sometimes that means we need to change our own relationship with our dog which may involve self – assessment and change, and how we interact with our dog going forward. Training is not a cookie cutter process, and we want to work with families that understand the importance of the environment in which their dog lives, as well as family dynamics are critical if not the most important issue to improved behavior they desire in their dog. We prefer in person visits at the end of training ; however we invite Face Time or Video Chats at any point in time that we have your dog in our home so you have the comfort of knowing they are in safe, caring hands and are being provided all that they need to become better pack members. We understand how hard it is to transfer the trust of your beloved family member to anyone, and it’s important to us that you feel confident about your dog’s temporary environment. We are happy to provide references for our in home board and train program. Our in home board & train program is now limited in an effort to provide focus on your dog/s as well as shorter commitment times. Cost is dependent upon behavior issues, training time and location. Time & Travel costs in addition to Training Fees if Jamal delivers your Dog after training or if you pick them up, you will need to plan accordingly to allow time for overall training review and practice homework. Ongoing post training questions via video calls, phone calls & text are no charge for every in home board & train program.
